Our Classroom in the front room is for the older children and is closed ended. This means materials have a specific purpose. (Montessori) Time is spent in here when the infants are asleep. Our home has an open floorplan that allows one to see in several rooms at once. The Living Room includes the Kitchen and Dinning Room. This is primarily the Infant and toddler area with open ended toys and activities but it is also available to the older children with age appropiate activities. Open ended means: the children can play with them how ever they want (with in reason...lol) and includes art.
